For Mackenzie Jacobsen and Jordan Soileau, their April 6th, 2024, wedding day was nothing short of magical—a perfect blend of love, family, and cherished traditions.

The couple exchanged vows at St. Catherine of Siena, with Father Jeremy officiating. The nuptial Mass was celebrated surrounded by stunning Easter floral arrangements, creating a breathtaking array of renewal and celebration.

Mackenzie was a vision in her ivory satin Paloma Blanca gown, the high slit and oversized bow adding a modern touch to its timeless elegance. Her bridesmaids, dressed in soft Mist-colored crepe trumpet gowns, stood beside her as she approached Jordan—who was already overcome with emotion. Their private first look remains one of their most treasured moments, a quiet pause in the whirlwind of the day where joyful tears were shared.

Their reception at The Alexander Room and Terrace was all about warmth and sophistication, with gold chandeliers, candlelit tables, and sentimental touches like framed photos of their parents’ weddings at the sign-in table.

Their guests enjoyed a delightful fare catered by The Alexander Room and Terrace, including a mashed potato bar that was a huge hit! The couple chose their stunning wedding cake from Swiss Confectionery and Jordan’s groom cake, an LSU-themed crawfish pot with a customized “Soileau” wooden paddle from Ambrosia Bakery.
