Drinks with Anna: Fun & Festive Holiday Cocktails
THE HOLIDAY SEASON is about family and friends, so what better way to celebrate than with fun and festive holiday-themed cocktails using delicious seasonal ingredients? You will certainly be “Sleighin’ the Season” with these delicious cocktails.
HOLLY JOLLY MILK PUNCH
2oz Bumbu Rum
4oz Whole Milk
½ oz Cinnamon Syrup
Nutmeg Garnish
Fill a rocks glass or fun/funky retro Christmas glass with ice, combine rum, milk, and syrup; stir, then sprinkle nutmeg garnish.
HEAUX HEAUX HEAUX
2oz Bumbu Rum Cream
1 oz cinnamon syrup
2 oz banana puree
Cinnamon stick
Caramel drizzle
Fill a shaker tin with ice, combine the Bumbu Rum Cream, syrup, and banana puree shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass; garnish with a cinnamon stick and caramel drizzle.
VERY MERRY
2 oz McQueen and Violet Fog Gin
1oz cranberry syrup
½ oz lemon juice
3oz Luc Bel Aire Gold
Cranberry Garnish
Fill a shaker tin with gin, syrup, and lemon juice. Shake well and strain into a gne flute. Top with champagne and three fresh cranberries for garnish.
JACK FROST MANHATTAN
2 oz Woodford Reserve
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
½ oz Peppermint Simple Syrup
Combine all ingredients into a rocks glass filled with ice; stir and garnish with a cherry.
HOLIDAY STREETCAR
1.5 oz Remy 1738 Cognac
0.75 oz St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur
1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin filled with ice; shake well, strained into a sugar-rimmed coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
PEPPERMINT BARK TINI
2oz 360 Chocolate Vodka
1oz Peppermint Syrup
1 oz Freshly brewed espresso
Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin filled with ice; shake well, strain into a peppermintrimmed martini glass. Top it with freshly shaved chocolate and three espresso beans.
*If you like a creamy martini, then add 2 oz of heavy cream before mixing.
