AT LA BARNHOUSE BREWERY
The creative vision behind LA Barnhouse Brewery continues expanding this fall with the opening of the newest space within their vast Ponchatoula campus—The Cocoon Lounge. Bryan and Julie Shartle and Kevin Rabalais welcome you to their intimate cocktail-and-conversation lounge blending Southern hospitality with an artistic, otherworldly vibe. Their specialty cocktail program features six signature kombucha flavors produced on-site.
Walk through The Cocoon Lounge, and you’ll find The Reflection Room, an audiovisual space where original cinematic, musical, and immersive experiences take place. On December 31, the entire brewery campus—including showings at The Cocoon Lounge, the air-conditioned barn-style courtyard, The Reflection Room, and other spaces—will show Midnight Between Worlds: A New Year’s Eve Experience, a limited-ticket event. Showings of original productions will run throughout 2027.

S Bar brings new energy to St. Charles Avenue.
Designed as a social hub for hotel guests and locals, the stylish lobby lounge invites you in with a striking green marble bar anchoring the space, surrounded by bold murals, comfortable seating, and street-facing windows overlooking the St. Charles streetcar line. The menu features craft cocktails alongside luxurious small bites from the sbe Collection, with live entertainment.
Open daily with an all-day menu beginning at 11 am and happy hour from 4 pm–7 pm.
DEBONAIRE HOUSE AT COVINGTON COUNTRY CLUB
Upscale yet relaxed, Debonaire House offers a welcoming take on the traditional cigar lounge in the historic setting of Covington Country Club. Guests can enjoy ultra-premium hand-rolled cigars, Debonaire Fine Aged Rum, handcrafted cocktails, food, and entertainment, with multiple rooms creating different experiences under one roof.
Stop in after a round of golf, meet friends for drinks, settle in for dinner, or enjoy a cigar. The calendar features steak night Thursdays, game and card nights, live entertainment, special dinners, rum and cigar tastings, and more. Private-event spaces are available for everything from intimate dinners and tastings to larger celebrations.
Owner and creator Danny Sinclair, manager Roxy LeBlanc, event planner Chloe Potter, and Chef Clint Burns lead the team behind the guest experience. With more experiences on the horizon, Debonaire House is becoming a Northshore destination.
